in my game there is a dungeon that is based on a clock item that you can use to travel through time in that area, and depending what time you are it is different, but the water tiles aren't working correctly. I want to make it so you can only walk on them with a boat, but they are treated like a normal ground tile. Any ideas how to fix it? Thanks!

What tileset sheet do you have the water tiles loaded into? I believe water tiles need to go in A1.

You need to show us your tileset in the editor database. Water always go in the A1 slot.

That's the issue. The passability is 0 which means you can always walk on them. You need to change it to X, which will make it so you cannot walk on them.

Thanks, but Is there a way to turn it off when I have a boat?

It automatically does it for you when you get on the boat if I recall correctly (you gotta use the built in boat vehicle).

the idea behind this is that when a water is shallow enough to walk in, it is impassible for a boat or ship.
and if i is passable for a boat or ship, it is too deep to be passable for the actors walking.

that is why the boat and ship use the inverted passability on water tiles.
