No, you can. Someone still did the effort of editing them after all. You're just paying for the effort, no the graphics.

You cannot charge for edits - but if you read more exactly then you realise that Celianna is talking about "his" resources.


If you do something completely on your own (not using RTP edits), then you are allowed to charge for a commercial licence if you offer them for free non-commercial (charging both com and non-com would not be allowed as that would be competing with shop resources).

I know there are methods to use to keep your maps going and add replacements over time, but it is soooo much work to keep track and ... I am just so sorry this happened.


I wish I had understood the overall nature of the situation better.

I removed Kaus' plugin and installed the one you created. Everything appears as it should, except for the fact that my character has disappeared? I don't have "Start Transparent", or anything like that on, so I'm not sure what is happening. When I reinstall Kaus' plugin, this issue goes away.

Hudell, You should Post the plugin in a new forum post.


That way you can shift through the Bug Reports on there easier then on this topic.


Echo607 Already knows of the new Plugin and she posted on twitter to change to your plugin, however i'm unsure if Driftwood will change to OrangeOverlay though.

Oh, don't I am already sorry, that I attacked you with that comment. I am just mad and demotivated. I wanted to have my game to be done and ready for release as soon as possible, and I was working like mad on it lately. But now I can relax and work it all over the way it should be.

Anyways, word's gotten out, and Hudell released a substitute for the plugin. I think this thread has served its purpose, so I'm closing it. Leaving it up stickied for other users though.
