Hello, so here's the problem..

I purchased the modern day shop tileset and the modern day tileset. I followed the instructions in the readme file included with them. So I imported them using the resource manager. Now, when I try to place the tiles down, they're all jumbled up, some are cut in half and the transparency is broken as well.

I thought importing this would be pretty cut and dry since it's 2 official resource packs, but I'm having some problems with them right of the box.

What did I do wrong?! D:>

All the readme file says is to open the tools/resource manager and then to import them into the "Graphics Tilesets" and I did that.

Let me try again...

Okay that's weird, I changed nothing and now they are fine except for the Parralax Objects from Modern Day Shop aren't working. Where exactly should I put those?

Parallax objects don't go anywhere in RPG Maker. They're basically an extra piece for people who edit graphics or create maps in an art program like Photoshop. :)

Okay, thank you very much for that. My apologies. I'm new to all of this. So I've found that I need to put things in the right letters and so forth. Even though somethings are split in half, I can still assemble them on the map just fine. This is fine. Thanks for your help! I haven't used an RPG Maker since RPG Maker 95. D:

As a reminder, use Shift Mapping to copy tiles exactly as you see them somewhere on the map.  Use Shift + Right Click to copy and Shift + Left Click to place.  This will help with creating better maps.  Hope this helps!  Also, don't forget to set tile passability!

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
