When I try to import a tileset and then use it to build the map, only the top left section of the imported image is available to use. What am I doing wrong?

What sort of tile set are you importing, and are you importing it to the correct tab?  From your description I'm wondering if you are trying to use a B-E tile sheet in tab A.

Based on replies I'm going to go download a copy of ace, so I'll let you know if I keep having this issue. I'm not really sure how tabs work, if I'm honest. I just designed a village already using paint (yes, the tiles are 32 by 32) and tried to import it into a tileset.

There are six different formats for tilesheets, and they need to be in the correct slots of the tileset to work properly.
A tilesheet formatted for A1 will only work in the Slot A1, a sheet for A2 only in A2 and so on.

Only a tilesheet formatted for the B slot can be used in any slot from B to E, and if you don't know about the formats, your tilesheet is most probably formatted for the B-to-E-Slots. Placing it into an A-Slot will mix it up.

Also, each tilesheet for B to E has a maximum size of 512x512 pixels or 16x16 tiles - anything larger will be cut off.

Maps made with picture editors like Photoshop, Paint.net or GIMP should use a parallax script and be entered as a complete picture, not a tileset.

If you still need help with this, some screenshots from you would really let us get to the bottom of the problem quickly.

- A copy of the image you've created for the tileset (so we can look at dimensions)

- A screenshot of the Tilesets tab in the database, showing the tileset you've imported, so we can see which slot you've placed it in, and have the tab for that slot highlighted so we can see what it looks like in there

- A screenshot of the map editor with your chosen map and tileset highlighted, again with the appropriate tab selected

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
