Hey everyone!

I am new to RPG maker and need a little help. I'm creating custom assets like bows, suits of armor, pianos, etc... and am wondering if anyone knows the best way to import custom assets? I read that sprites must be labeled with a $ sign to be recognized in a 3 x 4 grid. Are there any specifications for assets? I am trying to keep the size relative to the sprite templates.

Also I'm using photoshop to construct these assets as a bit of additional information.

Please help if you can!

All my best

I'm going to move this to Resource Support since it sounds like you are wanting to know more about how to format them, than actually import them into the maker.

This topic gives more info on the ! and $.

This should help you with some of the others.

Tilesheets B-E are 768x768 with a grid of 48x48. I think if you look through that template topic, it discusses the autotiles/A1-A5 tiles.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
