Thanks man. I've already had this link on the main post, but I suppose it helps to have it in more than one place. Everyone should totally check out this soundtrack.
After playing Central Impulse I'm hooked at your work! When I find some time, I'll definetely start this series! Looks amaaaazing Edit: Since I couldn't find a support bar I'll make one myself if that's ok for you. I deeply want to show my support for this project If you want me to remove it, just gimme a shout though
Thanks Dark. That's totally fine. I'll be very honoured to have a support bar made for my game and I hope you enjoy this series. I'm planning on releasing a full beta version of this game sometime in a month or so (closer to the end of March or possibly early April).
How to hell can you be so fast and efficient in game development? Share your secrets with us poor mortals...XD
This game is really good man. Picks up quick and drops you right in it. I like it a lot. I have some critiques, but I'll PM you those if you want. Very solid work though.
I totally agree! And It's not like It's some half-assed version that he puts together as a beta either! xD Some people know the word 'efficiency' (I don't) haha!
Oh, you guys flatter me. Thanks loads for the support. Honestly though, I am not sure. I am curious to see what everyone else does when they develop their games. I think perhaps it's simply just doing some work on the game every day. Awesome! Yes, I'll be very interested to hear your critique. Thanks for checking out the demo. I've got some more screenshots in a meantime. Might also make another video sample sometime this weekend. Spoiler City of Hettorn. That's right. One of the towns from the first game. It's changed and expanded over the years. And an optional dungeon - Trigus hideout (beware of the mad robot cult inside!)
No way man, your game is great. I'm the one who is lazy as hell here, and hasn't completed anything yet...ahahah - @Matseb2611: Lovely screenshots, I have to buy Celianna's awesome tilesets, I want to create a sci-fi game too in future.
Yeah, that Futuristic tiles pack is very good. Pretty much the bread and butter to any sci-fi game. And definitely, Violent Whispers is kickass. One of the best RM games I've played so far. EDIT: The next two characters drawn by Ehcs - the Sophorian twins, Sarlene and Telran. BD
Everything is looking great! I love the character art, they look pretty dayum amazing! I can't wait to play through the full version.
Hey guys. I think I promised a few days back I'll do one more video sample, so here it is. This sample shows most of the Trigus hideout, an optional dungeon that you can access through one of the sidequests. Note that some aspects of the game you see here might change in the future.
Heya guys. I've got only 1 screenshot today, but it'll probably be the last one. This screenie shows a battle on the streets of a city right before the very final dungeon itself, and due to spoilers I am not going to post any pics of the final dungeon. There are still a few more character sketches left though, so as soon as my artist does those, I'll be sure to post them here, so stay tuned.
I know it would be difficult to do in RM, but seeing those cars makes me want to use them as covers for the upcoming gunfight. Hum... maybe in a cutscene. That might work. (well, I'm not telling you to create it. Just a wild thought). I like the lighting. Very subtle, just like it should be.
Thanks man. Yeah, I was hoping for the characters to stay behind the cars and other obstacles during this cutscene battle, though as you can imagine it is pretty hard to do as the characters keep moving along the road and fight one group of enemies after another, so they're never in the same place. Well, I guess we'll see how it all turns out once I release the beta.
Woah, cool beans! You sir, enticed me into clicking the download button for a RPG Maker game today. I guess it's only fitting seeing how you've been playtesting mine though but this isn't an obligatory kick-back. I'm genuinely interested.
Many thanks, man. I hope you enjoy the demo. It's a bit outdated now, but hopefully it can still provide enough entertainment and a hook to see the full game, which I'm hoping to release sometime in the next 2-3 weeks.
So I downloaded the demo half an hour ago and I got to say, the design, the characters, the story... One can immediately feel how much work you are putting into your projects. So far it's looking outright awesome and I cannot wait for the final game to be released!
Wow thank you, JDBArtist. It is great to hear that the demo gave you a good impression of the game. If you've got any suggestions on how I can improve the game, I'll be very interested to hear them.
