Hello, I'm looking for help with an idea, my plan is to have the parameters of my character increase not only leveling up (this way alone is slow), but also doing some requirements, like walking or running a certain amount of steps will increase your agility and Max HP, getting hit receiving an amount of damage and surviving will affect little your defense, while defending an amount of damage and surviving will affect more your defense or your magic defense (depends on what type of damage you received or repeled damage), while you reach a certain amount of hits dealt, it will increase your attack or magic attack, and luck will be increased or decreased by doing some actions to other NPC's. And when you increase enough this conditions, it will change your class which allow you to increase more your parameters just by leveling up and new skills, but it will also increase the requirements to increase your stats. so if someone knows a way to do this, please let me know.

Just as a quick tip, it will be easier for people to read your posts and give you help if you give them some basic formatting. Using periods to form sentences and adding a line break every couple of sentences makes it easier to understand you.

So you can do all of the things you want, but some of them are done in completely different ways.

The battle things are achieved using Yanfly's Buffs and States Core, and Auto Passive States. You'd put passive states on your actors with notetags that look at incoming/outgoing damage and increase the appropriate parameters (or do whatever else you want).

The number of steps can be checked right in event commands, Control Variables -> Game Data -> Other -> Steps. So you'd just make a parallel event that checks periodically for the steps to have gone past whatever your threshold is to level up.

I'd suggest you check out some eventing tutorials, the instructions in the plugins I mentioned, and see how that goes.

Be careful with this approach as the player will always get damaged by one type or another and they may change to an unwanted class if its tied to this type of growth, which then will make your player have to grind stat changes for the desired class :kaoswt2:

Tiny setback. Turns out my Title Screen image and one of my primary background & avatar images are AI Generated. Glad I went back and checked all my resource links. So I am in hot pursuit of replacement images. Which is fine since I was still missing some images that I need anyway.
