I'm trying to design a move that is loosely based on Bide in the Pokemon games.  You take one turn to absorb the energy from opponents' attacks, then hurl damage back at them depending on how many foes attacked you, which I would assume is done by incrementing a variable that the counterattack calculates.  The problem is, I don't know how to implement this.  I get that a common event or two might help, but I have no idea how to execute this otherwise.
If anyone could help me out, I would be very grateful.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
