Welcome to Indrah's awesome(ly mediocre) closet o'tiles. Here I'll post whatever edits I make that I feel are versatile enough for sharing.

Repost of Edits: Fine, but link back here.

Credit goes to me (Indrah) and obviously Enterbrain. Additional credits listed with each image. Many of these were posted by Restaff releases, which you should definitely check out for neat resources.

This should go without saying, but it seems people pretend to be stupid when it suits them, so here it goes: please ASK ME FOR PERMISSION before posting these somewhere else. I have the right to decide If I want my work redistributed or not. Also always provide a link back to original site (in this case, this topic) instead of just saying "Indrah".

TOWN/INTERIORS

Spoiler

Misc town (+Credit Mack)

Roof recolors

Library edits

Interior misc stuff [The cut off benches are made to go with the table autotiles. The cut off bookcase goes sandwitched between the two rtp library tiles]
(Credit Scinaya for the lovely small box!)

Door rugs [They're cut off in half to place under/above transfer space]

Statue flips

Prison bars (they're shorter and have moss at the bottom)

Planks (the 3 tile long/high ones are to be used as bridges)

Stairs and narrow bridges [The bridge's edges occupy only half a tile so you can see the background]

Adaptation of the mack bridges (slight recolor). Credit only Mack for this.

Dark Castle

DUNGEON/EXTERIORS

Spoiler

Wilderness and extras (+credit Liberty)

Rnadom Bits of nature:

(The little holes below are meant to be waterfal "mouths")

Sea tiles+example of how they work:

Dark forest set

Red Cave (Credit Reverie Raven for those lovely water plants!)

The great Rock Collection! (aka expansion of the regular dungeon stuff)

Bones

Spiderswebs+eggs (it's all white so it's hard to see against the white backdrop). (Credit Liberty too)

You can find my MV tiles over here.

Awesome! I especially like the bones -- I only had a few variations in my tileset and could really use more, so that's a blessing. Thanks for sharing!

I keep downloading great sets like this and not using them because i'm too lazy to put them into a tileset. I need to stop being lazy.

@Thalzon: I actually have to stop myself from going insane with thematic edits (let's make 20+ variations for rock crumbs! And 30+ spider nets! And 50+ plant clusters!) and not make too dayum many (because they have to FIT in the tileset, godamnit!).

@tpsmall: I know the feeling, but just knowing they're AROUND can be a lifesaver when you finally start working on a project and have to compile the tileset ;3

@BulletPlus: Probably yeah. Since these were made as I needed them for my project, the number will increase as I map more areas that need more stuff. So long as they dont actually require painting tilesets from zero (bwaaa, just no) I'm more or less capable of chugging along decently.

I'm that way myself. I go crazy and dl all these great resources, but I've been organizing them by authors so I can remember whom to credit. and if more than 1 to credit, I add in a word doc that lists all the people for a particular set of resources.

The finger tool is called "smudge" n_n I do enjoy using it myself but not when spriting or making tilesets...it's probably why everything I make looks like it's from a cartoon.

n_n I'm glad some people are as skilled as you. You really put artists like myself to shame.

Pft. Watch my AWESOME BANNER-MAKING SKILLS XD

Yeah, it's lame. No, I didn't actually draw the only decent thing in there (my community character). I had a fun (and eye-opening) time doing it: yeah, I give up, I don't have banner art skills. Yep. No.

@garod: Glad you like them! I'll be adding some more in the near future (in a week or so) for the next dungeon areas. I'm finishing up the contest demo right now, so I can't get to it right at this second (but I have time to make lame banners, aw yes).

Gah, I need to curb my lurking tendencies and post more!

They look awesome, Indrah. Even the simplest edits are always useful because that's one less thing the rest of us have to make. Thank you for sharing! :)
