I'm so excited!  Testing of the first twenty floors, and the town officially begins tonight!  If you're interested in becoming a tester, let me know,  Otherwise, enjoy this concept doodle from way back.

I promise I've been hard at work.  The testers have really been helping me iron out a lot of kinks.  I'm currently working on an unlockable area that will have a ton of shops that also need to be unlocked by completing different goals.  I feel like things are finally moving along!  I'm so excited to see my baby growing! <3

Thank you!  Yes, it's all hand drawn, then scanned and colored in photoshop and paint.  I've got a version available for testers, bu I haven't released an official demo yet.

I'm glad to hear you say that!  Honestly, I just need to slap it together.  I've been putting it off.  Maybe I'll try and put a demo together tonight.

It's no pressure. I only need a small portion of the game ready for a demo, and that's been done for a month or so. I've just been so caught up in uodating, I sorta forgot about the demo.

Okay!! I have finally tried the demo!! and wow!!! It was really fun!! I'm liking the aesthetic, the music and of course the original arts  very cute! playing through the dungeons reminds me of playing Alundra or Ragnarok, which really makes it cool, brings back memories! xDD


Also I love how there are side-quests at the bulletin for me to finish! very clever conversations with the townsfolk too (that quirky mint got me grinning) xDD I really enjoyed through it all and reached level 10! but I had a problem, there seemed to be an error popping up right after I finish the level where sebastian appears?? when I use the teleport crystal back to the entrance, bruce was about to start a conversation but an error popped up saying "Unable to find file: Graphics/Faces/BruceSmirk". and I cannot continue through! x((

I was feeling arty today, so I busted out a couple of sketches while I was killing time before work.  I really enjoy trying to bring out the characters' personalities without any speech bubbles.  It makes me thing harder about who they are.  Anyway, here's a little doodle of Lydia and Sebastion's rivalry rearing it's ugly head.  Also, yes.  I'm adding a fishing minigame.





I also got to thinking about the four love interests available so far, and thought maybe I'd expand it to six.  I'm going to take two characters already in the game, and just build on that.  I ended up doing a total redesign on the character "Zak," and now he's Ivan,  I may edit him in the future, but here's my first attempt.  I'm pretty happy with him, though I may end up altering his outfit a bit.





Sorry they're a bit messy.  I edited them a bit, but I'm a very sloppy sketcher.  I'll definitely have clean versions of Ivan later, and I'd like to work on more scenerio drawings to show Lydia interacting with the other characters, if only for my own entertainment.


Anywho, I've been hard at work on the game.  I'm currently working on some extra areas where you'll find minigames and other distractions from the main grind.  Hope to have some more news soon. :3
