Inherit walkability from base tileset?

Hi all,


I have this problem with the walkability of my tiles, I have some flowers, rocks, decorations that I want to put over water, grass and ledges. The decorations are in my B tiles, and have a circle as Passage option. The problem is that makes them always walkable, even when they are on water, is it possible to make them inherit the Passage option from the base A tiles where I put them?


Like in water : not walkable, in grass: walkable.

I think there are scripts back on Ace for that... Not sure for MV... An alternative if you can't get a plugin is to make copies of those objects and put them on an extra sheet and add that sheet on your tileset.

Thanks, that gave me an idea. I use a transparent E tile marked as non passable and paint it over where I don't want my characters to walk. It's not the best, but it works.

Well yes, since you can now put 2 B-E tiles on top of one another... So that would work until the time that you need to put two B-E tiles on top of each other but still end up with the problem.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
