Installing on Steam?

Hi,

I just purchased MV through the website. I got an email with a product code -- nothing else. No installer EXE or link to a steam somethingorother (as previous forum posters indicated).

Are there any current/explicit instructions on how to install this on Steam? Right now, I'm downloading the trial version, in the hope that (like the VX Ace trial) I can activate it with my product key.

I don't know if it matters, but my shopping cart had both "RPG Maker MV - Preorder" ($72) and "RPG Maker MV" in it. I chose the former ($8 cheaper).

You need to install the Steam App, before being able to activate your product.

As for the standalone version, it's basicaly what you're planning to do: download MV and use the activation key you got in your mail.

Thanks. That workflow worked, and I can see it installed/downloading in Steam.
