Hi and welcome! Kes was just trying to help you out with common terminology surrounding RPG Maker.
Yes, from a code viewpoint things such as walls, furniture, etc are sprites. However, it's not the normal terminology used for it by the people who use and create the resources for RM. The people who use it consider sprites to be characters - anything really, that would go in the Character folder of the graphics folder.
Tiles are the other things - the walls, floors, trees, decorations, furniture, etc. Kes's point was that if you are searching for RPG Maker MV sprites, specifically, you are not going to find the tiles you are hoping to find.
Now, you say that you don't want a mishmash of google tilesets and defaults. So, you have a couple of other options if the free resources available here and elsewhere are not to your liking. You can pay for graphics packs which contain the tiles you seek or you can pay an artist to create the tiles for you. Please know, that second option will be very pricey.
As for the Resource Requests section here, it is meant to for small requests - 1-2 individual tiles, a single character sprite, etc. That is because people who fill the requests here are busy with their own work and it would be rude, I'm sure you agree, to ask someone to spend hundreds of hours creating a game's worth of graphical content for you.
Now, sometimes, there may be an artist who is looking to join a project, as they don't currently have one of their own, and would be willing to work for free as a partner in the project. In that case, they would likely look in the Project Recruitment section to find a game that looks attractive to them and something they would want to work on. So you are free to post in Project Recruitment if existing resources are not suitable for your needs.
If you are willing to take some time to look through our resource section and see if there are items that work for you, and then let us know in the original post the items you still need so we can help you find them, this topic can stay open.
But if you really need a full set of custom resources, I will close this thread, so that you can post in a more appropriate section.
Oh and also, you shouldn't repost resources without crediting the creator. So if you could at least please name the creator of that sprite base it would be appreciated. Even better would be linking to where you found it.
