DESCRIPTION:

This game is a playable teaser for my upcoming game, Into the Aether. In this short journey, you travel across a world known as

the "Deadlands" with a mysterious spirit guiding you along the way. This game features very different gameplay from the main game,

as the proper game is more of a RPG with 32-bit graphics, while this game is a "walking simulator" featuring Atari styled graphics.

The events of the teaser tie into events in the real game, though it may not be obvious at first. Those willing to decipher the evidence will

be able to connect these two seemingly unrelated games together. The real game will also be of much longer length. That being said,

I hope you all enjoy this small teaser we've prepared.

FEATURES/DETAILS:

- No RTP elements used. All music was created by my partner, Paul Riggio (including some BGS elements).

- Ultra simple, Atari Styled graphics. Characters in the world are represented as squares.

- Mysterious story, with questions left unanswered.

- Estimated gameplay time : 15 minutes.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
