Hi everyone I am Bobo

I just picked up RPG Maker VX Ace from the Humble sale. What a great deal. I had no idea how powerful it was until I started reading through documentation. Been nosing around the forums and there seems like a great community.

Seems like it will let me have all kinds fun while scratching my itch to be creative with audio and digital imaging as well as coding.

I have to say, this is defiantly one of the better(BEST) communities out there. Just the way its structured, all the events and contests that you can participate are outrageously fun! I'm working my way through the docs and tutorials now. No doubt I will have questions as I get some time "behind the wheel." Eventually I will be confident enough and capable of contributing.  

I haven't spent an extensive amount of time in the forums yet, but everything I have come across reflects a great community. I was looking at the code off forum, and it was nice to see productive discussion vs the typical breakdown of communications and manners you see / expect in other places. That in itself sets this community light years ahead. 

I will try to NOT be a lurker.

You have a creative profile picture. Is that a pepper and a roll?  

Bobo is a nickname given to me by co-workers several years ago.  It is supposedly a play on the first two letters of my last name and inspired by Professor Bobo who was a fictional character on Mystery Science Theater 3000.  Depending on what Google results you look at, it can also have a rather negative meaning.

I prefer the crazy guy in an Ape costume reference to the dualistic jerk one.

Oh when I was child, peoples call me Bao Liu not my real name though. When I got in highschool first year,  Ihave oversea foreign friend, and he can't spell my name correctly and always call me Bolu, something like that. Now I just repeat it and comes BoluBolu. This profile picture is a Bolu image I got from google, I was got nothing to do at that time, and did playing around, I type Bolu in google image and this thing is what I found I also know that Bolu is a snack originated from SouthEastern country like Idonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, I know it from some friends that live there.

Thank you for sharing the the background on your name and the picture   Yeah, Professor Bobo is kinda scary.  But it could be worse hehehe.

Edit: Thanks for inspiring me to update my photo.  Hopefully my edit is a little less scary.
