Hey, and hello.

I started into RPG Maker when RPG Maker was release for the Playstation in 2000, and ended up on a couple of console RPG Maker websites. I still enjoy games created by these systems quite a bit, and I think working with limitations can really push someone to think outside the box. I've never finished a complete game on those RPG Makers, however. I used to Preview(think reviewing demos, really) mainly RPG Maker 1 games. It was great fun, and interesting to see everyone's ideas in motion. I ended up with my crowning moment being a free copy of RPG Maker 3 given to me by Agetec for being a part of one of the fan website's staff for some time.

The PC makers have always been something of interest to me. In particular, the amount of customization that comes into play with them. I'm not nearly as experienced with them, but I hope to be. I tried a demo of RPG Maker XP years ago, and just bought the game recently during a sale. VX Ace is my second PC RPG Maker I own, and it looks absolutely flooring. I feel in order to maximize my potential, I need to settle down and figure out scripting as well, usually goes over my head.

My hobbies are mainly video games, anime, tea, cooking, reading, music(and learning to make it), mainly, the usual. Career-wise, I'm hoping to improve my art a significant amount and eventually freelance and do graphic design as well. The drawing in my icon is mine, and my DA is at http://rubigrotto.deviantart.com

Another big hobby though, is doing Let's Plays. That's located here: https://www.youtube....uperorangegamer

I'm still pretty new to it, though.

As for the forum handle, which may be a bit odd- I decided to use a name for a creation studio, of sorts. I'm hoping to create custom art and music for games. Still working on the whole pixel art thing, though(and also music by teaching myself FL Studio currently). It can be quite challenging to work with! Of course, this name is also pertinent to making RPG Maker games, of which I have high hopes for my main project with RPG Maker VX Ace.

Anyways, hello again, nice to meet you. :)

Welcome to the forum. Good luck with your art - I'm really horrible at it, so I love ogling at what others are able to conjure up!

Greetings! Good to see another RPG Maker veteran. Good luck with teaching yourself the skills you want and I'm eager to see what you come up with!

Thanks for the warm welcomes!

@Shaz: I think anything can be learned. Even art type stuff. :)

Heck, art is fun!(I'm not biased at all. :p )

@Reynard: Thanks! Looked too cool in Gamepro to not pick it up! It's wonderful to still see new releases in the series via the PC.

@Knightmare: Tea is absolutely metal. Fire Ginseng could take someone out. :p

Usually though, I'm just a fan of trying new flavours. Green and white are my main category preferences. :D

Welcome to the forums.

Like a lot of folks I suck at art, so I spend a lot of time looking at it. I'm interested to see what kind of game you'll make.

I liked your sketches especially the Fire Turtle and the Croco sketch filled me with nostalgia.

My wife is a Harvest Moon fan too (that was a good piece of fanart).

Thanks a ton! I'm also interested to see how the project should turn out, despite having rough ideas. :p I wanna get most of it out on paper first. Even so, Ace looks fun to play with and get used to before cracking into that.

I think Croco is quite the villain. Straight up thug in SMRPG. I still remember a friend and me having a bit of trouble catching him back in the day during that little chase sequence.

Harvest Moon is a wonderful series to me. :) Great taste! I'm not as knowledgeable in the later games yet, but it's nice to still see those going strong.

Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
