Investigating new plants for a plant book

hello, i have a question.
i want that my main character shall search for new plants, which has grown through the climatic changes, and update the plantbook in the library with these informations.

is there a plugin which can do that?

if you want the player to be able to read texts about each entry, look for an encyclopedia-type plugin.
If yu only want to have a count of how many found, this is better done with eventing.

You should be able to use the ItemBook plugin (ships with MV) for this. It may not even need any mods, depending on how you want your plantbook to appear.
