I started work on a game that focuses on exploration and horror.
It uses a old school sort of look and simplistic graphics to focus excusively on text.

It sort of looks like a old rogue-like to be honest.

Anyway, the map is quite big. About 80% finished.

The Only problem is, once I deleted the starting position and then set it again, the

player sprite wont show. I made sure that transparency is off in the system settings.
I also made sure that the player actor is set to the player sprite I created.

So, I don't know what the **** is wrong. Can someone help me?

I've moved this thread to MV Support. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

Things to check (or double check)

- transparency in system settings

- any event that makes the player transparent and then doesn't turn it off

- do you have a sprite allocated to your actor

- is your actor in the party - either in the system settings, or via a Change Party Members event command

If none of those help, please give us a screenshot of the map just after you start the game, and let us know if you have any "introduction" event that runs before giving the player control.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
