RPGMaker MV Now Has Major problems with current versions of Apple IOS Technologies.

I am using MacOS Sierra and have Xcode Version 9.0 (9A235)

I created a new project as a basic test.

I followed the instructions from RPGMaker MV documentation on Converting to an IOS App verbatim.

It downloaded Cordova 7.0.1 and Platform IOS 4.5.1

I proceeded with the rest of the instructions and there are tons of warnings, problems, and issues.

My test game does not work in the simulator at all. I cannot even click on "Start a New Game". Nothing is clickable.

I tried creating a new project using Platform IOS 4.1.1 but the exact same problem occurs.

It seems that no matter what I do with RPGMaker MV, my game is not clickable or playable within the simulator. I cannot even click on "Start a New Game". Nothing is clickable.

It seems RPGMaker MV is now totally incompatible with IOS. Please put this on your emergency fix list. This is a catastrophic problem.

I've moved this thread to RPG Maker MV Deployment. Thank you.

More information is going to be needed to help diagnose this problem. Error messages, screenshots, etc.

If the RPGMaker MV developers follow the RPGMaker MV Export to IOS instructions exactly as they are written the the help file, and then when they open the project in Xcode 9, they will see all of the warnings.

When they proceed to run the project in the IOS iPhone Simulator, they will not be able to click the "Start New Game" option.

Do your developers not encounter this exact problem?

Ok. I tried it on another machine with Xcode 9 and IOS 4.4.0 and it worked but I still got all the code deprication warnings. The code deprication is still present, but at least i can click start game. I am going to try re-creating my main cordova/xcode project from scratch on the other machine and see if I get the same results.

Ok... I had to completely clean things out. I don't understand why or what happened, but it seems that after completely re-creating the Cordova projects from scratch, and re-doing everything -- it now works albeit there are still code deprecation warnings, but that will hopefully be resolved in a future version of RPGMaker MV.

The touch/click-ability works again, after the complete re-build. Something must have gotten corrupted after upgrading to Xcode 9.

At least that solves that. But I do hope you have an update for the Cordova deprication in the next RPG maker update so we stay ahead of the curve.

Actually a triple post. If you want to add something just edit your earlier post.

Sorry. My bad. I added this as a reply to a post of a totally different but related topic. Since it was a different topic -- that was why I broke it out separately here. I will avoid doing that next time and will post totally separate and distinct topics in their own post so as not to double post. Since I posted this as a reply to a related but different topic, that reply should probably be removed. My apologies. I will take care to observe that rule moving forward.
