1. Trust (you know the person is not going to run away with the script or even spread it free)
2. Professionalism (the person actually fixes it)

Yeah, I agree on that, will it be fixed would have to be the biggest issue tbh as it's a pretty big plugin that would need to be fixed if not re-worked from scratch. I wouldn't mind hiring someone and pay a decent commission upwards $1000 for something that actually works and is able to edit to a degree. Not saying a 1-1 copy of Irians card game just something polished enough that is presentable for a commercial release as a side game.


Number 2 would be the hardest thing I imagine, 3 for the budget is easy as I am more than happy to pay someone to develop a card game plugin that actually works. Something like Irian but not as intense with all the effects, some effects but not as much. Thow in a rarity system and booster openings and that's it. Not fussed on all the rules and the likes tbh.

Tldr : theory is to many refunds and or complaints about the product and lack of support, though ironically Irina still regularly releases new products and advertises them in the offical RPG maker discord.

I see, yeah I guess that makes sense. Too bad. It looked really promising but after reading a bit in this thread I guess I probably should lay my hopes to ever use it on ice. Thanks for your reply.

Not a problem and yeah it's like that, personally just going to save a lot of money so someone can make one.
