Hi!! Im using this summons plug in: http://sumrndm.site/summon-core/

You can summon actors as "summons". Now, everybody knows the super quality of a dragonbone sprite animation, but when I try to load a dragon bone sprite with this summon plugin the character sprite is empty.

Is it possible to make it work?

Thanks.

If you are saying you have ripped sprites from another game, you cannot ask for help here to get them working in your game. This would also include asking for plugin modifications to allow you to use them.

I'm not familiar with "dragonbone sprites" but I did a quick google and it does appear to be a game. Are the resources made freely available for others to use by the game's creators? Or are you using them without permission?

@Shaz , I rather assumed the OP was talking about DragonBones skeletal animations, a la TheGreenKel's and Yanfly's DragonBones Integration plugin. DragonBones and AEkashics both have free battlers for this system.

@Magusalfador , if you are using TheGreenKel/Yanfly's plugin (or someone else's plugin) to add DragonBones animations to your project, which plugin you are using and a link to it would be useful information for someone to be able to help you integrate it with SRD's Summon Core. It can be easy to assume that everyone else knows what you're talking about, but as evidenced here, they might not. You posted the link to SRD's plugin, so you're halfway there. :D

yeah, I thought it sounded like that too, but then google said it was a game, so I wasn't really sure. I figured someone else would be familiar with it :)

@Shaz and @Llareian Thank you both!
Im using Yanfly Battle Engine core: http://yanfly.moe/2015/10/10/yep-3-battle-engine-core/ and the DragonBone Integration : http://yanfly.moe/2017/08/04/yep-150-dragonbones-integration-rpg-maker-mv-2/ with the SRD summon core mentioned above.

I dont think is that complicated because it doesnt seem to have compatibility issues, they work fine, the only problem are the sprites not loading, i assume its because the summon calls the sprite in battle, so spites are not refreshing maybe? Is there a way to refresh the battle scene somehow?

Thanks!!

If you hit F8 to open the console, does it show any error messages?

Does the following help thread help?

The first is a plugin that summons an actor to the battle: http://sumrndm.site/summon-core/

Alright, going off what I said above, I've recreated the bug in a demo file you can find here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ldtvbzvgwggc8gl/Summon Test.rar?dl=0
Once in battle, use the Summon spell to summon the actor to battle. In this demo he won't be visible due to being designed to work with the side view battle system, but I can assure you this works when implemented,
I've also made a video replicating this bug that can be found here

In this @KawiiKid is using summon core in a blank project & for him the summon creature is invisible. Same for me when I used it.

It's only invisible because the plugin is for sideview only. So if you use sideview battlesystem from yanfly, it works fine and the sprite shows up.

Yeah, I was ignoring the obvious but, the bug presents because it is tried on front view, Im trying it on sideview and works fine with actor sprites, the problem is on the use of dragonbone skeletal sprites.

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
