Is it possible to have square character graphic? I'd like to make a collision perfect, square character. Like..lets say the same size as a tile.

I'd like to have my character cover a full tile unlike a normal character graphic is what I'm trying to say lol.

So something like this?

This is an example of the dimensions; put a $ in front of the file name, and plop it into the editor~ in the game, It should be a 32 x 32 square tile that you can control. Not sure how you'd put a face on it, unless (like Owl said) they're a naturally sqaure character. :) A a sprite with head and limbs wouldn't be able to fill a square space, though.

Yes something like that but not as rectangular :guffaw:

I don't want limbs or anything just a plain blank square :p

That IS a square character.

Sprites need to have four directions and three animation frames, turning a 32x32 pixel character into a 96x128 pixel spritesheet (3x4 times the base character)

Alright I've made a simple sprite of a square that was 32x32 and added the "$" in front of it but when adding it as a character graphic it was very small.

I then remade the same sprite but in 92x92 pixels. It's still a bit short of the tiles in the game. Does anyone know the exact size of the tiles?

I suspect yours was small because you only created a spritesheet of 32x32?  This would have been divided up into a 3x4 grid as if it had all the directions and animation frames.

Tiles are 32x32 pixels.  If you wanted to create a spritesheet with all the directions, this would be 96x128 pixels.  Remember that the engine will take the total size of the spritesheet and split it into a 3x4 grid.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD

The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such?
