I know MV and MZ make games that are larger than normal (I don't think it's all the assets either, must be something in its libraries), but even so I don't think reaching 20GB+ on an RM game would be possible even if your game was 100+ hours. Even if such a lengthy adventure had full voice acting, sure having a lot of lines adds up, you might manage a 2-5GB game, but still. There's many ways you can keep filesize down without losing quality, and what's great about the newer engines is at deployment you have the option to chuck out all unused files. The only way I can imagine reaching 20GB is you'd need to have A LOT of video cutscenes. Videos are usually what eats up a lot of memory. Even a 1:30 video at a basic 4:3 640x480 resolution can easily take 20-30MB alone, and that adds up the more videos you have, the longer they are, and the higher res. So if you had a really long game, with a ton of high res graphics, fully voice acted, but most of all... LOTS of video cutscenes... then yeah you might be able to achieve a 20GB game.

I work late on the game so I sleep in then I wake up late so I have to work hard to make up for sleeping in meaning I work late again and sleep in again... what a nasty cycle.
I just had my first real fire. Dad made burgers for lunch and the grill caught fire. He tried to get water but I told him you should never put water on a grease fire. So I got him the fire extinguisher under the sink and we managed to put it out. I can still smell a little of the smoke coming from the patio, but at least it's clearing. It sure was scary though.

Could not for the life of me figure out how to implement the dual/triple techs in Touch the Stars in a player-friendly way. Was describing all the problems to my wife and just rubber-ducked a solution that should work brilliantly.
