I'm sorry if this is a really long title and I'm sorry if this mechanic is really specific, but what I want is something like the asthma attacks Ninten gets from the Earthbound Beginnings that would occur randomly in battle which causes him to not do anything for that turn. I think this would be nice since one of my characters suffers from Mysophobia and it wouldn't make sense if in game she would have problems but in battle she would be all like "Yeah! I'm gonna touch you and kill you!" But I also wanted to add on to that and make use of Mog_ChainCommands plugin that makes it so if a certain skill is used afterwards you'll see random button combinations that make you inflict another skill on whoever. I thought about using this so that whenever my character has this state where she cannot attack you'll be able to do the Chain Commands to make the character do a strong super attack. This isn't really a question on "How do I do this?" But more of a "Should I do this" or "How can I make this better to the player and less of a pain and annoyance?"

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
