Is Mog's LMBS (Linear Motion Battle System) script worth using?

I remember checking out MogHunter's LMBS, which seems to have stopped developing due to its porting to RPG Maker MV. I wanted to make a RPG game which intends to have a fast-pace battle system but i'm not sure if the RPG Maker VX Ace version of this now-indefinite hiatus LMBS script is worth using, due that it's still on beta and i could have hoped that it would continue developing for fixed bugs or better features, but it's been a year it hasn't pretty much improvered, so i wonder if it's a good script to use or not?

I,m trying to make a game with it right now, but it does have some disadvantages:


- No evolutions or aura support for actors,


- Battle eventing doesnt work


-Sword and Actor cannot be separated (if you want to make the character wield a different sword, you have to create another actor. And i dont know how to transfer the level and skills from the first to the second...)


-Battle seems missing something... It should be more fast-paced...


Overall its good... I cant work with any other battle system. My game HAS to have linear. Its a lot based on a comic so using any other battle system would feel just too... different.


I might give up... but it,s fun making a game so... eh. I relax a bit by doing this.

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
