Hm... I actually could make a game from scratch if I wanted to. I know how to program in Java. This is why I know that, in any non-rpg maker game, a "kill everyone" feature would be dead easy to make, but then again, if it doesn't add anything, it will make the game feel empty (like Milennin said) and on top of that, it is just waay to much work in an RPG maker game.

Some of the greatest fun I've ever had in a video game was using "Fus Ro Dah" on an innocent NPC in Skyrim. I would use a spawn cheat and just blast them off of a mountain. I would, of course, reload after I had my fun.

I walked up to this guy in a quaint little town the other day. Didn't know him. He looked like a lot of other people I saw around. But I knew I only had only two options for dealing with him. I could talk to him... or I could kill him.

In truth, I enjoy killing innocent npc's and taking their valuables. If no valuables, I just kill for fun. But for me it solely depends weather I am a hero or a villain. Fable is a good example type of game since you get to choose to be good or bad and kill civilians or monsters. This is a very interesting element that can be implemented in a game.

i made a demo (yeah i did not complete the game) that was a action rpg that almost any npc had enemy dynamics

you changed weapons with with the keyboard numbers and the default was talk.

if you used punchs the npcs didn't die but got unconscious for some time.

if you used a weapon they died on a pool of blood and disappeared  after some time.

at some point there was a npc who challenged you to a minigame so that if you won he revealed where there was the secret place to continue the game, you could find it by yourself of course , but if you killed him you could not play the mini game.

npcs that i didn't want to be killed by players only appeared on cut scenes, so it didn't get inconsistent.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
