Yes, almost anything is possible besides 3D stuff. This can be evented but would benefit from being written as a plug-in for advanced features. I would suggest making a plug-in request or commission request. If you don't wish to spend any money or wait for someone to make it for free. (which could take a lot of convincing.) I suggest learning more about rpg maker as you can event this with the built in functions, variables and switches. :)

Even the 3D stuff is possible afaik. But making it in RPG Maker is kinda insane.

As for making a 'mario party game', I strongly suggest using another engine than RPG Maker.

Because RPG Maker is not the best tool to make non-rpg games, specially for those inexperienced with programming.
While it is possible to make non-rpgs, those requires you to basically not use all the tools that rpg maker offers that are intended to, you know, make rpgs.

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
