Is the 20-day Trial good/worth-it?

I'm interested in getting this program, but I'm not sure if I should shell out the money just yet. However, there is the 20 day trial version that you can download. I'm hearing a LOT of concerns on this forum that this product (the Full Version that everyone bought) is really lacking in content and that it's been promised to release "Soon." Does anyone have the 20 day trial version, and if so, how is it? Also, will this additional content (that most people say is WOEFULLY necessary) be included in the trial version?

I want to love this product, believe me; I want to really get into it. Any information is welcome.

Many thanks.

The trial version is essentially the full version, but you can only use it for 20 days. It gives a good idea of the engine.

I would not get it just yet. The engine isn't even complete for the English version yet.

And will it be updated with any content that the team is still working to release? Also, will any project I make with the trial remain available if I buy the Full Version later?

I appreciate that insight, Cubic. I'm wondering how long it will take for the team to release "the rest" of the Full Version.

LZachariah, please avoid double posting, as it is against the forum rules. You can review our forum rules here. Thank you.

If you want to reply to more than one person, you can do so in the same post.  What can help make it clear who you are talking to is to use the format

@otherusername

To answer your question, yes, any project you start with the trial version remains available to you when you get the full version.

Your second question is a bit more difficult to be precise about.  We know that Archeia is working to get the full database with all the default entries (enemies, skills etc) out in the next few days.

Ah! I apologize for breaking this rule, and thank you very much for the extra info. I think I will download the trial and then proceed to the full version.

Thanks again.

RMMV
Additionally I might point to the fact that most of the content is not automatically installed but was available from the start for manual import.

The problem is that anything imported will be included in the final game build - you don't want to import resources that you'll never use. For that reason, a lot of the modern/SF content is not automatically available but needs to be copied from the "base resources" DLC in the steam DLC folder, or from the additional download link of the standalone version.

However, that download is currently not available for the trial (as far as I know)

That's good to know. Also, as an important point to anyone who is considering downloading the trial, the trial does NOT seem to be downloaded through Steam, so if you intended to buy the full version through Steam later, you would presumably need to manually transfer anything you made in the trial version to your main Steam version (rather than just downloading the 20-day trial on Steam and "unlocking it" by buying the full version later, which seems to not be possible).

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
time for a new avatar :)
