Is there a Resource Pack compatibility list?

There are a lot of resource packs out there, some of which have different styles while others are compatible.

Unfortunately I'm no artist, and while some cases are obviously incompatible (old school and high fantasy as the most extreme example), there are other cases where I don't know if a set is compatible or not - especially looking only at a few demo pictures before purchasing them.

The special case that brought this up is wether "Modern Tiles" can be mixed with "Futuristic Tiles" - they look similiar in a lot of parts, but if I compare the styles used for the cars in the two demo pictures which contain current day cars from both sets,  I'm no longer sure if I can mix them, and that would make a difference in purchasing them for me.

But aside from this specific case, I think it would be helpful to the entire community if an artist (or someone who knows the resources better than artistically challenged people like me) makes a table listing the compatibility for each of the store's resource pack to each other and to the RTP for each Maker.

Thanks

At the moment almost everything is made to match the RTP.  The only exceptions I've seen are the DS tiles, the ones by Pioneer Valley Games, and the new Old School tiles.  The differences in cars between the Modern tiles and the Futuristic tiles is because they're done by different artists.  I wouldn't use the cars together but other parts of the set should mesh.

If you want to really scrutinize the tiles, none of them will match unless it's by the same artist. While Luna (modern tiles) and I (futuristic tiles) draw tiles made in the same style as the VX/Ace RTP, it's still quite different from each other. But not enough that they clash when putting them together. Though the cars, that's definitely not going to match unless it's by the same artist. Anyways, here's a run down of them all:

The Samurai tiles are created by Enterbrain, and thus match the default VX/Ace RTP.

The High fantasy packs (includes Mythos Horror) all match each other because it's from the same source. They do not fit any other resource pack, nor the default VX/Ace RTP.

The DS resource pack and the DS+ resource pack, while slightly different, still match. They do not fit any other resource pack, nor the default VX/Ace RTP.

The modern tiles, plus modern shop add-on, Arabian tiles and Zombie Survival are from the same artist, so they all match. They are also made to fit with the default VX/Ace RTP.

The futuristic tiles are made to fit with the default VX/Ace RTP.

Old school modern pack is a stand-alone pack with its own style. It does not fit any other resource pack, nor the default VX/Ace RTP.

The Rural Farm Tiles has its own unique style and doesn't match anything else. Can still be used to replace the default RTP.

The Wild West pack matches the default RTP, though it is slightly more saturated.

The Fantasy Hero Pack contains battlers, portraits and some sprites. For the battlers and portraits, it has its own unique style and doesn't match anything else. The sprites match the default RTP.

And lastly, there's the Egyptian battlers and Tyler Warren's RPG Battlers, which contain battlers and has its own unique style and doesn't match anything else. Can be used to replace the default RTP battlers.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
