Is there a simple and free plugin for RMMV to show a custom weapon on skill?

I the motherland needs your help!

In the game i am working on i set this mechanic: there are 2 sets of weapons for each character:
  1. Primary weapons: basic weapon, used for standard attacks and needed for the main skills. There are 3 tiers of weapons with some variants each and can be acquired through shops.
  2. Secondary weapons: their only function is to add 2 skills each. There are 3 of them too but every one is different (example: flamethrower, rocket launcher and grenade launcher). They can be found/won through secondary quests.
The main thing is, is there a simple plugin to show a specific weapon sv sprite when a skill is performed? Lot of people suggests to use Yanfly Action Sequence Packs but i am monke, so i'm not able to use it :dizzy:
And also, i seen nowhere proofs that Yanfly packs allows to show specific weapons indipendently from the weapon equipped.
Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

Note: i already tried to use Victor Engine but it crashes my project (and is rocket science too for me lmao)

Well... You got the recommendations, so I guess it's either gonna be learn how to use or hire someone who knows?

To clarify:
By default the engine displays the weapons based on the weapon type of the first slot of equipment.
You would only be able to specify a picture to a weapon if your entiry weapon type has that picture (or only one weapon has that weapon type), and the number of pictures for weapons is limited as well.
and that completely ignores the second weapon.

for any more variance you'll need plugins.

Yeah, i was kinda unclear: a plugin is exactly what i need. Just not one complicated as Yanfly Action Sequence or Victor Engine :hswt:, something like animated sv enemies or SpriteWeaponEnhanced

Just to mention it, we're not supposed to double post. You can click Quote or Reply on each post you want to respond to.

You didn't say you only wanted free plugins - I don't know a way to do this with free plugins.

You could try Yanfly's Skill Core or Action Sequences and using JavaScript to actually change which weapon the actor has equipped, but that seems very complicated and could cause a lot of problems.

The one free thing I found is very old and suggests you use Yanfly's Weapon Animations instead.

So my two suggestions would be either
1. Use something like Yanfly's Weapon Animation plugin and have the skill apply a state to the wielder, or
2. Write a skill that actually changes their equipped weapon.

That sounds like what i need! But... i explored his profile and found nothing :rswt could you please link some of them to me? Or just the one that looks to be what am i searching for, please?

I made a mistake, his plugin is for MZ, not MV, I'm sorry.
