ok heres what I'm trying to figure out I have a ton of resources ok well normally when I add one to make a tile set for a map it only takes up very little space on the tab but you are limited in how many tileset tabs you can have so is there a way I can add more than one graphic together to where they can sit on the same tileset tab

also is there a way to use more than one tileset to a map like have a normal tileset and also a full modern tileset and if so is there a way to make it transition between the two like an old beat up version of a house layout th at can either flicker into the new fixed up version or it could slowly fade in taking over the old version

To combine tiles, you'll need an image editor like Photoshop or Gimp.

The event command "Change Tileset" will let you switch between tilesets.

You have ONE tileset per map. You have NINE slots per tileset.

You can mix and match these in any way that you want, but that is your limit.

You can take the A1 and A2 tiles from the Outdoors tileset, A3, A4 and A5 from Indoors, B from Outdoors, C from Indoors and D from Dungeon if you want to. If that doesn't give you enough flexibility, then you have to start editing and taking the individual tiles from each set you want and combining them into a single sheet, keeping in mind that the A* sheet tiles each have a very specific purpose/use, and you have to put the right tiles in the right sheets and the right spots on those sheets, or they won't work properly.

No, each map can have only one tileset. Changing the tileset results in every tile which uses (for example) tile C1 from the old tileset being replaced with the graphic C1 of the new tileset.

The command to change tilesets usually works only with tilesets that are intended to be exchangable, for example one set of tilesets for spring, summer, autumn and winter or one set of tileset for night and day or such things.

If you want to do seasons just have each tileset correspond to a particular season/time and make sure they represent the same objects.

I do seasons with Mack's tiles... the key is that each tileset should have the exact the same objects in the exact the same spot... of course minus things that shouldn't be there is a certain season...

example:

if your spring tree takes up Tile-B, around the upper right corner, then your winter tree of that same kind should also be in the upper right corner...

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
