There are separate script calls for checking states of player and enemies:

$game_party.members.any? { |m| m.state?(x) } #For player
$game_troop.members.any? { |m| m.state?(x) } #For enemies

Is there one for checking BOTH groups at the same time?

The systems I use these for work just fine. The only reason I want this in one line is just for convenience, and I've looked, and it doesn't seem that a method like this exists, so I'll take "There isn't" for answer.

$game_party.members.concat($game_troop.members).any? { |m| m.state?(x) }

Watched a video of a kid in China leaning against a giant ceramic teletuby statue (valued at nearly $4000 apparently) in a toy store and everyone arguing whether it's the parents or the store's fault. I'm just sitting up wondering why anyone would make a giant ceramic toddler toy in the first place other than to deliberately cause exactly that from happening in the first place though.
Plans for vacation? Maybe I'll go visit
