Hey there...

I'm currently working on a project that I send to my friend from time to time...But everytime there's an update I have to deploy my project and reupload the whole thing again...Is there a way to send my friends the updated version of the project only and not the whole thing? Thank's in advance.

P.S.:If I don't excluded unused files an errror occurs: "Failed to create distribution package". This happened after I tried to deploy my game without checking the "exclude" thing...In this updated I added some .ogg files to my bgm folder if that's related....It also increased my file size by WAY too much...I mean yeah i made changes but I only added 1 or 2 new maps and more events...Does that affect the file size that much?

Depends on what you update, sometimes you could only send a part of the files (for example when you didn't make anything news on the graphics or audio folder you can just leave them out, put the old files in the folder and play it normally). You just have to transfer the datas that have changed, for example the data and javascript folder. But actually you should better ask someone who knows more about mv ^^.

EDIT: Oh, I don't know what kind of error this is :/ maybe someone else knows?

Usually pictures increase the file size heavily and long sound files? There are file size stripper out there that could maybe help you?

Thnak's for the quick response.

So, I'm gonna have to keep notes of what I change for example, then find the changed files, put them in a .rar file and send them to my friends? Would that work?

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
time for a new avatar :)
