Is there a way to specifically allow access to one tile?

Like an invisible 'same as character' tile can block even if it's allowed in the db, is there an opposite?

You could tick the event setting : "through"

With below priority it doesn't seem to work...

You could edit the tileset, replacing a tile you don't use with a copy of the tileset you want, and set the passage settings.

Yanfly's Region Restrictions (for MV, usable through FOSSIL) or the MZ equivalent in VisuStella's Move Core should allow you to specify a region number as passable, regardless of the tile it's on.

Without plugins, you can follow these steps to make a bridge-type event:
  1. Make an event there.
  2. Change the event's image to a passable tile.
  3. Set the event to Priority: Below characters.
  4. Make sure it has Through off.
See the attached screenshot for a valid example!

[Edit: you can use an invisible tile for this, too, so long as it is marked O passable in the tileset.]

Some explanation:
  • Events with tile images are included when checking map passability.
  • Characters marked Through are never included in passability checks.
Multi-tile bridges will require one event per tile.

If you have trouble understanding the instructions I have listed here, please say which step(s) you do not understand (1, 2, 3, or 4) and try to explain what the problem is. :kaohi:

I think he wants a wall tile(at default no passage) to be able to walk through. A bridge tile, for example, is set to passage by default.

If you put an event like I described on the same tile as an impassable wall, that tile will be considered passable when the event is active (assuming the selected tile, like in my example, is marked passable in the database). If the chosen tile image is invisible, then the event will be invisible. Have I missed something?

No  I think NaosoX's confusion (and mine, the first time I read your technique) was that your first post didn't explicitly address using an invisible tile image to go through a visible wall. So I was seeing a bridge to walk over water or a ditch, but not a way to go through barriers.

Also, one might need to create one, depending on the tileset...the upper left corner of B with the star passability does not work for this, and I definitely have tilesets with no empty spaces.
