So i'm working on some skills and i want to tint the player and enemy black
like in the image below. Is there a way to do that because i tried
tint user: -255, -255, -255, 0, but it didn't do anything. I got the screen red like
this but not player or enemy. Any help would be great, thanks!

It's because the last value needs to be 255 too
The last value is the intensity(opacity) of the tint on the sprite, 0 is none (non visible) and 255 is visible.

Perhaps this would help?

Edit:
Never mind I misread I see now you want it for battles

There are a plethora of pretty simple plug-ins for coloring sprites.

If all your battles are going to be this way, perhaps a simple (though somewhat less professional) solution would be to manually tint each of the battler spritesheets as you want them. This could potentially also work if you only wanted it to occur for a limited set of characters in a limited number of specific battles (rather than as something you'd want to use many times in a variety of complex ways) by having an "alternative" battler sprite for the characters that are going to appear as tinted in specific battles, and then simply changing their battler sprite to the alternative battler during those specific battles, and then changing it back once the battle is finished.

Once again, by no means a tidy solution, but a solution nonetheless.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
time for a new avatar :)
