Recently I was having issues getting traps to sync up, however I managed to get it done by using a <Force Update> comment, which both Victor and MOG anti-lag scripts support. This got my traps working--yay! However, there is a limitation that I find a tad annoying. As far as movement goes, this command only seems to apply to events that are using their own move route and it's a move route inside the event, instead of Autonomous Movement.
I was thinking of making a few NPCs that would require that their autonomous movement be constantly updated:
1) A mailman or courier NPC who would travel the map and deliver mail and goods to the player.
2) A delivery NPC who wanders around town and drops off boxes of goods.
3) A marathoner NPC who races around town.
It isn't absolutely necessary that these NPCs are constantly updated, but it'd add a lot more realism and soul if the characters were actually moving around the map instead of teleporting to the player or waiting until the player is nearby to begin their route. Is there any script or workaround to allow events to constantly get updated and move around the map?
