Alright, so I am creating a horror game in rpg maker that breaks the fourth wall to spook you

I have already found a way to resize the window, but I am looking for a way to actually MOVE it. For example let's say the screen was in the center of the desktop, then something spooky happened and all of a sudden the game was on the side of the screen!

Any ideas on how this would be achievable?

Voted up, I would like to know if it's possible too.

Also, if you don't mind, can you PM me the way you resized the window?

if you post how to resize it, that might provide some info on how to move it as well.

haha - the answer is right there.  Part of the resizing process involves moving the window so it's in the middle of the screen.  So you just need to do something similar, changing the x and y values rather than the width and height.

To be honest didn't read the code. I am on something at the moment.

If the plugin is so straightfoward it can do fun stuff!!!

can you script?  Copy and rename that first method, and pass in arguments for the x and y values.  Or you could just pass in a direction (2, 4, 6, 8 to reflect the arrow keys) and do the calculations to move it to the left, right, top or bottom of the screen, based on the window size and the screen size.  The info is all there for you in that method.  You've just got to do slightly different calculations.

I'm not that versed in scripting, but I'll give it my best!

Is there anyway you can show me what it would look like? (In case I can't do it)

EDIT:

Never mind! I got it working (The most ruby I've ever done  :p )

Thank you!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
