I'd like to have some feedback on a battle system I made. I completely removed some traditional elements, which may bother some people...
So, back on topic:
It's an action battle system (currently using Khas' SAS as a base, though that may change).
The characters' HP remains 100 thorough the game, focusing on the growth of ATK, DEF, and CRI. They don't have any special or magical powers.
Most of the humans have this constant HP of 100, but have diverse ways of attacking. There are also stronger enemies, which can't be defeated by simply running up to them and attacking, but different tactics are required. For example you can use stealth and attack them from the back, or use explosives, or maybe literally drop a bridge on them... as most of the game focuses on exploration, and interaction with the environment, even that could be possible. You can also avoid the harder challenges, but the game might present you a different one... more, smaller enemies or a puzzle or the like. While exploring you may come across hidden pathways, bonuses, or even some secrets related to the storyline. Also I'm not going to have as much enemies as other games have, but provide a different kind of challenge other than 'flood of encounters'
So, that's basically what I made. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, I wrote this post after hours of cram school (intermediate English exam this summer yaaay) and I'm pretty tired so I might have left some stuff out.
