Issue after compressing game data

Hello everyone,

I am experimenting a strange issue...after compressing game data using the appropriate function (File -> Compress Game Data -> Select Path -> OK) and creating the .exe with game data, I cannot run that .exe to extract the game folder.

What I get is absolutely no error message at all, my computer just opens 3 different processes with the same name (GameName.exe) and then the loading loop starts.

I also tried to compress game data in a different location but nothing, the loop continues. I tried to compress the game again many times and the issue is still the same.

Do you have any clue?

ADDITIONAL INFOS:
OS is win7, game folder weigth is 15.8MB (without RTP) and the issue is the same if I compress the game WITH RTP or WITHOUT RTP.

EDIT:
I found a temporary solution: extract the game folder using winrar and then compress it manually. Anyway I'd like to know how to solve my problem with the .exe file.

I may have misunderstood what you have written, but when you say "and creating the .exe with game data" that sounds like it might be an additional step after clicking OK.  or is that just a description of what happens?  When the compression has finished, do you actually get the blue cube?

I am sorry it was not clear. It is a description of what happens, it means I get the blue cube as always but when I try to launch it all the troubles start.

The "blue cube exe" is an installer that will install the game on a computer. If that installer doesn't work, then most probably you either have windows access restrictions or your registry is too large - only rarely that is a problem with the exe itself, as most of those problems would be detected when creating it.

However, easy way to test that: can you transfer the installer to another computer and check if it installs there?

Then reinstall the maker and try to create a new installer after that.

Ok, I reinstalled the maker and the issue persists...

EDIT: just a note I forgot to add before. Actually I am using encryption to compress game data.
