Hey,

I'm hoping that someone could help me with a small compatibility fix between Galv's Menu Themes Engine, and Hoshigata's Item Details script.

The two scripts actually do work with one-another, however, since the extended item description creates a window while still in the item menu, the mostly transparent windowskin that Galv's script creates applies to the new Item Details window too.

To give that mess of a sentence some context, the result is this mess:
Capture0.PNG

The Item Details window works just fine, but since the window it creates is the one created by Galv's script, it's nearly impossible to read anything.

Could someone help me create a patch that would allow the Item Details script to instead use the default windowskin/transparency?

Paste this under both scripts:
Code:
class Window_Item_Detail < Window_Selectable
  attr_accessor :last_window
  #--------------------------------------------------------------------------
  # 初期化
  #--------------------------------------------------------------------------
  def initialize
    super(0,0,Graphics.width,Graphics.height)
    self.windowskin = Cache.gmenu("Windowskin2",$game_system.menu_theme) rescue
    Cache.system("Window")
    set_theme_tone
    self.z = IT_DETAIL::Z
    self.back_opacity = IT_DETAIL::BOP
    hide
    deactivate
  end
end
Where "Windowskin2" is the window you want to use (for example, the same menu window, but with more opacity)
It should go in the same folder as the transparent window

nice fruit names, by the way ;D

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such?
