Is it possible to make an item that upon consumption replaces itself with another item in one's inventory? For example, an empty bottle in place of the bottle whose contents were just consumed.

Have the item set to consumable and to call a Common Event (CE).
Have the CE do whatever the item is supposed to do (e.g. heal)
Have the CE add the new item to the inventory using the 'Change Item' command.
