Good day/night/evening all!

So I'm learning JS but there are times when I could do with some help but don't want to start a new thread on small and simple questions as these small and simple questions might just end up cluttering the forums.

So I thought about getting together a Javascript learning group together! Now how this group would work is basically a PM group of say 5-8 people who are all learning JS with maybe 2-3 members of the group who are quite knowledgeable in JS to help support the newbie members whilst also the newbie members helping and supporting each other in learning JS.

So in short it's we all learn together the group and that help each other in areas that we may not understand and don't feel the need to post something that doesn't need its own thread.

But to help keep this group organized and be efficient as possible there will be some rules and guidelines.

1. This isn't a request a plugin group! Asking members to make plugins for you! you can, however, ask how to say, where you need to start to make a plugin or if your plugin has an error and you need help fixing it or you have a question about how a function works for example.

2. No, be littling members! we all start somewhere and it may be a stupidly simple question to you but this group is here to help members understand how JS works and can do there own JS!
3. Have a form of independence! You need to put in as much work as the people helping you.

This isn't so much a rule but more let's keep the train on the right tracks. I don't mind the odd hi, how're things? etc but please no full blow conversations.

I will update change the rules as I go along.


So currently I am looking for a Max of 10 members with the following roles.

2-3 Mentors: As your job as a mentor is to help new JS learners how to code and help with any inquiries they may have.
5-8 learners: This is for members wishing to join as learners. your main purpose as a learner is to well.....learn from the mentors how to JS and one day become a mentor yourself.

I myself am new to JS but I'm hoping with the group we can create something good for the RPG maker community and give us some newly fresh out JS coders.
