Hello all! (First time post here)
I've used RPG Maker since like 2003 and XP but I can honestly say that I haven't used it in quite some time. When I heard about RPG Maker MV supporting JavaScript (thanks to girlfriend) I leapt at the opportunity to check out what there was... And then I had a blast and started exploring tons of new things. Though the architecture that the developers chose for the plugin system is a little more than questionable, I've found ways to make it a bit more bearable while developing on top of it.
Basically jsRPG is a core library that is meant to be developed on top of. It makes plugin development easier, it has tons of JavaScript additions and tons of helper classes. It also introduces a new (and frankly better) way of managing your plugins rather than having everything in one enormous JS file. After I made that I tested it out with a plugin I call "oriText" which is featured in the video. Then I went and tested it out with a full keyframe animation suite to be used for the game (also in the video). Anyway, check it out and let me know what you think. I'm going to be messing with this thing a lot more and will be adding tons of new features.
