Hi Everyone,
Wanted to commend you on such a fantastic community. Just wow. I’ve worked in Unity for some time now, around 6 years, as that’s where I cut my teeth on modern game development. I am old enough however that I learned PASCAL and Basic in high school computer science.
What brings me here from Unity? Well I set off on a new project, writing an RPG... C# after C# script, connecting this game object and blah blah but really struggled on the art side. The best art I found has always been connected to this ”maker” community, and everything I was writing has already been done here and has been battle tested. So I thought, heck - I’ll just bring my project onto this engine!
Yanfly is a legend in my short time, and well worth the thirty bucks for his pack of beautiful JS. I love the plugin system and how easy it is to test scripts without completely destroying something. I’m a Debug.Log() guy, and it’s so refreshing to be able to sculpt ideas so fast here.
Im so happy to be here and to start working with you all, thanks for having me!
