Oh my, there are some serious goals being set this month. And a good diversity. It will be interesting to see what happens if/when IGMC starts, how that impacts on people's progress.
@Hollow
That is a very nice map, it gives a real sense that a particular individual lives there, rather than it being some generic house. That's something I've found a bit hard to put into this project, as it is a world more or less without reading and writing (so no books, scrolls, bookcases etc.), before mechanical clocks, all sorts of things like that, which has made house interiors tricky.
My update
Saturday (I think it was) I mentioned that I was trying to do a round tower. Well, here are 2 WIPS showing where I've got to. On the first one, the odd bits of green are falling leaves. I will probably change the style of leaf, but it will stay overcast and gloomy. Our intrepid heroes will have to get in past the overgrown door.
The second one is, as you'd expect, the interior. I still have to work out tinting and lighting, but as the tower is abandoned there can't be torches or braziers or things like that, so it will have to be solely from the windows. Unless, of course, I can come up with some creative way of explaining some lights in there, but at the moment nothing comes to mind. I was slowed down a lot on the interior because I discovered that Mundy forgot to put any shading on the pillar of the spiral staircase, so I had to stop and put some in. Otherwise it looks totally flat. I think I shall have to work more on the shading.
