Well, it's actually just a suggestion seeing as we can keep gold and items from previous episodes. I find certain accessories to be quite useful, while others appear to be more of a detriment rather than being helpful. It might just be a personal playing style though.

I still find the game's battles reasonable (and sometimes easy) even without the accessories actually. If you need to create too many conditional branches, then please ignore this suggestion. I feel the game so far is nice, fun and fine as it is. Proper use of the provided skills actually make the game easier. ^^

Thanks for listening, Matseb! Looking forward to your future episodes!

Lol, you actually find them useful? I should make them give more of a handicap. Hehe. I originally intended the accessories to be completely optional for those who want to make the battles slightly harder.

So far we've had 3 accessories in each of the first 3 episodes (there weren't any in ep 4), so 9 conditional branches is all right. I should be able to handle it. Though I'll probably not add any more accessories then.

Oh, and say if someone decides to start from ep 3 for example (without playing episodes 1 and 2), would you say it's better if I provided them with accessories from first 2 episodes as well?

There will of course be more skills, items, and states added in future episodes so to add something new to the battles.

Yeah, for some reason, some of the accessories provided more of a boost in battle, all things considered. I thought that some players might find them useful if they were carried forward.

I only found out about accessories in my third playthrough. ^^

I guess you could make it like the gold and items - you only carry forward from the episodes you have played. It feels like an incentive for playing through each episode.

Thanks for considering! ^^

Episode 5 is out!!!

Well, finally here it is. Episode 5. The newest download contains all 5 episodes in it. As usual, you can access it from New Game or from the end of 4th episode.

New dungeon, new enemies, new skillz, new pranks, and new faces!

Also a couple of modifications:

 - Accessories can now be carried over between episodes.

 - Boss fight at the end of Ep 3 was made slightly easier.

Another great episode!

- Bob's laughter in the forest is appropriately creepy.

- Love those funny battle scenes!

- Shy chests abound in the jungle.

Bugs?

- Don't know if this was intentional or not, but the menu cannot be assessed in Episode 5.- The three headed dog's body can still fight without its heads.

- Some chests are inaccessible. (Intentional)

Thanks for the feedback, Susan.

The menu thing must be because I had it disabled in Ep 4 and forgot to re-enable it, so if you're continuing from Ep 4, then yeah, I see why this happens. Oops. Going to have to fix that.

As for the other two things, yep, they're intentional.

The dog's body initially only takes half the damage, but if all heads are destroyed, then you can go all out on it. Or alternatively you can attack the body right away, and once it dies, the heads go with it. :)

As for chests, yeah, many of them are prank chests and cannot ever be opened. Ought to drive some players mad. :D

I'm thinking most likely 8, since that's how many I've got the basic plot planned out for. :)

What's up, guys? Today is a good day, because...

Episode 6 is out!!!

Please see the opening post for the download, which contains episodes 1-6. Episode 6 takes place aboard an airship. Can you stop Bob and his army?

Plenty of laughs await you.

Mate... Matseb2611. This game is amazing, I went through all episodes all at once! It is simply glorious and fabulous! Plot is great, humour is fantastic! My only problem is that I should played this AFTER watching Akame ga Kill Final. Now I'll have feels to deal with without this pick me up xD

Chaos Avian: Thanks man. I am glad you've enjoyed the game that much to play all episodes at once. :D

Evan Moonkid: Hehe, I didn't know. What does your character look like? I was going to check, but I can't see your game's thread in your sig.

Episode 6 is just as fun as the other episodes! ^^

Playing this game always makes my day!

The Steel Bass's weapons look dangerously close to cutting his own head.

Too bad there's no full orchestra this time.

Funny event with the giant bird's sudden appearance.

Nice domino effect with the crates. Good timing with the eventing!

No dialogue when Bob is defeated first this time.
Didn't run into any bugs this time. ^^

Good job as always, Matseb! ^^

Thanks Susan.

Yeah, we get to meet separate vocalists this time, including a Steel Tenor and a Steel Soprano. Lol. Those two never really speak. They just do high-pitched singing. :D

Glad you liked the domino effect and the giant bird. I was hoping to add as much of weird and unexpected stuff as possible. I hope the return of Grinotaur was good too. Did you see that poster too on one of the walls?

I've been making a good progress on the final two episodes. Might even release them before the New Year. ;)

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
