Those look really cool! Do you have the world designed yet (or at least, most reoccurring pieces like grass or dirt)? It'd be good to see how they look in-world, but they look great in my humble opinion. :kaoluv:

Your art assets look really good! If I was to give feedback, and this is me nitpicking, maybe a darker contrast in the background would make the image pop more.

I’ll keep that in mind. I have a two monitor setup so it’s hard to tell contrast because they both have different contrast levels

This looks really cool! What kind of game are you making? Like a horror/bleak game (Darkest Dungeon comes to mind as that sort of game). I think the coloring works just fine, though the cat suit girl is somewhat distracting with the given themes. Maybe if the net part (the see-through part) was longer (to her ankles, for example) and wasn't red? The rest of the characters are pretty dark in comparison. I really like the art style, though, and it looks nice in the given environment! :kaojoy:

I feel like the characters looked well suited for the environment, though the old man does have creepy eyes! Judging by your avatar, I'm guessing the characters used to looked a lot cuter? In this case, their current design looks great if not the right direction! It depends on what tone your game is going for!

If it's a horror/bleak game, maybe the characters could be a little more... messier? Grittier. They do looked a little clean at the moment. But if it's adventurous, then their designs are perfect! I'm quite interested to see what the final product would look like!

yea my avatar was the first generation concept for Omri, the main hero. The game definitely will have darker tones and will deal with different aspects of the soul and what it can be put through.

Those are really nice Artwork ! I would suggest working on Background, Needs more Light effects and if possible Shadow effects, It would take it to a whole new level !!!

Beautiful sprites. I assume they will be animated later.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
