Today, we have 3 new packs to share with you. These packs come from Kadokawa directly, and are themed around authentic Japanese culture. Although all 3 volumes are classified as music packs, they each include a tileset sheet (Tile E) as well as some front-view battlers.

Festival of Light is all about celebration - from victory themes to festival grounds. This volume includes both architectural elements and decorative details you need to create a festival. Some of the details might even inspire you to create a mini-game or two!

Call of Darkness is horror-themed and perfect for anyone who wants to create a story about demons, ghosts and abandoned villages. One of the highlights of this volume is sound effects of things like well buckets, nooses and blood splatters - which are very needed in a horror game, but can be difficult to come by.

Twilight Shrine is focused on the spiritual aspects, including sounds of offering boxes, songbirds or crows. This volume is a perfect bridge between Festival of Light and Call of Darkness, as it can be used for a pleasant spiritual area or for a tense horror nightmare. The highlight of this pack is not only the architecture of shrines, but the extra details such as a hand-washing hut or a Torii gate.

To celebrate the release of these new packs, we are introducing them at a 20% discount! Simply add the product to your cart to see 20% reduced from the total. Offer valid until Monday, December 5th at 7:00 AM PST.

As always, we'd love to hear your feedback, and we're happy to answer any questions you may have about these brand new packs. :)

I actually need some of the items in the tile sheets that come with these. I'll definitely be purchasing at least 2 of these if not all 3.

the music is great, the tiles not so much... being someone who is struggling to learn how to just map and create my first game (yes, i am still going through the tuts), the last thing I need is a DLC that has a tileset that is made for parallax mapping...  my 3 attempts to date to parallax map has been nothing but disasters...  will still purchase these anyway and later learn how to parallax...

Hi

The music sounds excellent. However, please release the PV Games packages that have been submitted months ago. We want them!

Thanks

The tilesets included with these packs are not for parallax mapping... They are editor-ready. :)

I just bought the pack and I kinda got disapointed for the enemies...who's litterally just a remake of XP ressources :/

I do likes the tileset and the music though

I might get that festival of light pack. I always loved it in games when you save the day and the entire town is decked out in festival garb!

That are quite some specials I never believed I would live long enough to see one day to become real ;-)... Cheers, I wish they wouldn't just be limited to RM-Engines.

The festival packs seems more up my ally, it has resources that could reduce my reliance on RTP for modern resource especially vending machines.

I so needed this since last year lol. I can finally finish my Japanese style horror game. My festival stalls and shrines never looked right. Now I can get it woot  XD

And I can always use more blood splatters. You can never have enough ^_^

These packs all look pretty nice, but for a pack whose content is mostly audio, a mere 30-second clip of one song is really scant information to make a decision on which pack I want most (or whether I want to buy them at all).  Any chance you guys could create a more complete sampling of the included music (etc.) to listen to?

The description clearly states they are XP and they are also bonus content.

Hey, I'm a little confused on the battle data from xp, does it mean its literally the data for the enemies//characters used in XP, or does it come with battler graphics for them as well, and are they in xp style or mv?

I'm not the only who gets Okami vibes from the Field_2 track am I? Specifically, it sounds VERY similar to Cherry Blossom Shower?

Not that I mind this at all, because it sounds REALLY nice and I think could befit a festival quite well (which also is when Cherry Blossom Festival plays in Okami), but still I just thought it was interesting.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such?
