So I've got an event activated by player touch with same-as-player priority that's supposed to make the player jump +1, -1 (or the square above the event) if they're facing right. I got all that to work... but now, I don't know how to make the jump face right. I thought maybe Yanfly's MoveRouteCore plugin would help me, but it offered me nothing new except what the program already had (for my purposes). So... help? How do I get it to keep the direction? When I run the event, the player's facing direction changes to up. I guess because they're jumping up, but this is my solution for trying to get them up a wonky staircase, so... it doesn't really look right if they're facing up while jumping...

Maybe use the direction fix command?
Also, I'm pretty sure that the move route from yanfly(or its extension) has the command "jump forward". I think this can help you.

Yeah, I tried jump forward, but that only moves the player... well, forward. I can't seem to get forward to jump above and forward is the key. But I'll see about the direction fix command...

Edit: Eyy, direction fix worked! I'll probably do some more considering how I want to handle this over all, but it does what's supposed to at least!
