    Hi, some users report getting this error "Cannot read property 'blendModes' of undefined"?

    Can you put all of the applicable notetags in the helpfile, first post or your website's tutorial please?

    Also, is it possible to reduce the flicker rate on fire-based light sources?

    EDIT: You can reduce/change the flicker. Inside the .js file, change the "variation" numbers to lower values if you want less flicker, higher if you want more.

    Is it possible to customize the size of the actor/enemy light sources in battle? The comment "[light_size 200]" doesn't seem to affect battle lights.

    Did anyone figure out how to prevent the lightning from being drawn during menus? It makes transitions from menu and back really awkward, especially on large maps.

    Lol, I have the same problem as you. Whenever the player transitions from map to map balls of light would appear during the fadeout screen.

    I was able to fix that but the menus are the only problem that I have.

    I'm having an odd issue. Has anyone encountered this? I'm trying to use the SetEnemyLight function with offsets, to account for flying/large creatures. But it seems like the offsets aren't independent? Depending on what I set one enemy offset to, it seems to affect the next enemy's offset. It even seems to affect enemies in the next battle, so that the same offsets have different effects in different battles. This is with BattleLighting Reset at the beginning of each set of commands. (See attached code example.)

    I'm really confused; I'd appreciate any help!

    khas can you please send me a list of commands for this plug in so i know what i am doing?

    im getting an error every time i create an even using the comment command [light torch] or any other command using the different light images. i have the lights folder with all the images in my IMG folder. also this is the error codes i get:

    i have copied and pasted to my js/ plugin folder your khas core, graphics, and ultra lighting plugins. i did exactly as your tutorial suggests and the simplest even gives me this error. please help

    @Raven19861986 I have merged your 2 posts into one, but in future, if you want to add something less than 72 hours after your first post, and no one has posted beneath you, please edit your post to include the additional comment/info.

    I strongly suggest you edit your post to remove your email address. This site, like so many others, is deep trawled by bots looking for emails. You will likely be inundated with spam/phishing/malware etc.

    Also, it is unlikely to serve the purpose you suggest as Khas has not been on the site since February and so will not see your post. Even if he does, he is most unlikely to send you an individualised list. Doesn't the plugin come with a User Guide? I know the Ace version does, and that lists all the commands and explains them.

    No, it doesn't, which is really annoying. The best you can do is visit his website tutorial for the plugin, but it's pretty messy and scattered everywhere. I don't even think all the commands are listed there, either.

    This is asking for too much. Besides, didn't you know that Khas hasn't been around for a year?

    You have to make due with what you have or try to find another way around.
    If this plugin doesn't work for you, I suggest giving Terrax lighting a try.

    Sadly no. I'm new to the forum. But used ace a long time ago before a surge wipe 3 years of game work and my flash drive back up.

    I got in as ultimate lighting to work by using his demo file as the foundation of the game

    In case someone else got the "Cannot read property 'blendModes' of undefined" error, that's probably because your browser does not support WebGL. For me it worked in chrome, but not during playtest.
    For a solution, checkout this thread - the part where you insert "--ignore-gpu-blacklist".

    Care to elaborate further? for me it's sporadic. After deplyoment package of my project, some people are complaning having this blendmodes error, some not. Does this mean that some peoples graphics card is having an issue whith the lighting plugin?

    Browser does not support? what do you mean by this. My game is exported for windows platform btw for offline gaming.

    Edit: so i did the --ignore-gpu-blacklist procedure for package.json at playtested the game. so far no problems but can't say the same for other PCs that may run this in the future. also need to mention that for playtest purposes, I had to edit the line to this:

    to make it work i had to remove www/ but i may have to add it again when i deploy the game as package or else an error might appear.
